Alliance With The Varka Silenos

Note: This is a multi-part quest that establishes an alliance with the Varka Silenos. If you choose this quest you will be killing Ketra Orcs. As you increase the level of the alliance, you gain access to shops, raid bosses and other quests. Once allied with the Varka Silenos, you or anyone in your party cannot kill or harm any Varka Silenos. If they do you will lose your alliance and your “Mark of Alliance” will be downgraded one level. For the 3rd class transfer quests, you must complete the first two alliance levels and the “Magical Power of Fire – Part 1.”

FORM AN ALLIANCE – LEVEL 1

1. To begin, speak to Varka's Messenger Naran Ashanuk, who is standing outside their outpost. You can port there from the Goddard Gatekeeper.
2. He tells you to obtain 100 Ketra’s Badges – Soldier. Go to the Ketra Orc Outpost and hunt Ketra’s War Hounds, Ketra Orc Footmen, Ketra Orc Raiders, Ketra Orc Shamans and Ketra Orc Scouts.
3. When you have 100 badges, return to Naran Ashanuk and he’ll take your badges and give you the Mark of Varka’s Alliance Level 1. In addition, you can begin the next level of the quest.

Reward:
A) Varka Silenos will no longer agro you in their territory.

STRENGTHEN THE ALLIANCE – LEVEL 2

1. To begin, speak to Varka's Messenger Naran Ashanuk.
2. He tells you that to strengthen the alliance you must obtain 200 Varka's Badge - Soldier by killing Ketra’s War Hounds, Ketra Orc Footmen, Ketra Orc Raiders, Ketra Orc Shamans and Ketra Orc Scouts. You must also obtain 100 Varka's Badge – Captain. For those you’ll need to hunt Higher level Ketra Orcs.
3. WARNING: If you, or anyone in your party, harms a Varka Silenos you’re alliance membership will drop one level (thus breaking the alliance).
4. Once you collect the 200 Soldier and 100 Captain badges, return to Naran Ashanuk and he will give you the Mark of Varka’s Alliance Level 2.

Rewards:
A) You will be given permission to use the warehouse in the Silenos outpost.
B) You can start "War with the Ketra Orcs" quest and collect molars to trade for Nepenthes Seeds (Varka money).

STRENGTHEN THE ALLIANCE – LEVEL 3

1. Go back to your buddy Naran Ashanuk.
2. He tells you that to strengthen the alliance (again) you must obtain 300 Varka's Badge – Soldier, 200 Varka's Badge – Captain, and 100 Varka's Badge – General.

Varka's Badge – Soldier: Kill Ketra’s War Hounds, Ketra Orc Footmen, Ketra Orc Raiders, Ketra Orc Shamans and Ketra Orc Scouts.
Varka's Badge – Captain: For those you’ll need to hunt Higher level Ketra Orcs to kill.
Varka’s Badges – General: Kill Ketra Orc Generals, battalion commanders, grand seers, head shamans, head guards, prophets, prophets guard, and prophets aide.

3. Once you collect all the badges, return to Naran Ashanuk and he'll give you Mark of Varka’s Alliance Level 3.

Rewards:
A) You may use village store. You'll need to get a higher level alliance membership to get better items. You can purchase Brown/Grey pouches and SOE - Varka Silenos Village with Nepenthes Seeds.



B) You may buy buffs with seeds.


STRENGTHEN THE ALLIANCE – LEVEL 4
Disclaimer: The following reward information hasn't been 100% verified by me yet. Some of it was reported by members of the L2 community.

1. Go back to Naran Ashanuk.
2. He tells you that to strengthen the alliance (yet again) you must bring back 300 Varka's Badge – Soldier, 300 Varka's Badge – Captain, 200 Varka's Badge – General, and the "Feather of Valor" from the "Prove Your Courage" quest.

Varka's Badge – Soldier: Kill Ketra’s War Hounds, Ketra Orc Footmen, Ketra Orc Raiders, Ketra Orc Shamans and Ketra Orc Scouts.
Varka's Badge – Captain: Kill Varka Silenos warriors, lieutenants, mediums, elite soldiers, commanders, elite guards, white captains, and seers.
Varka’s Badges – General: Kill Ketra Orc Generals, battalion commanders, grand seers, head shamans, head guards, prophets, prophets guard, and prophets aide.

3. Once you collect all the badges and get the feather from the other quest, return to Naran Ashanuk and he'll give you Mark of Varka’s Alliance Level 4.

Reward:
A) You may use the Gatekeeper to port to Goddard and Rune using adena.

STRENGTHEN THE ALLIANCE – LEVEL 5
Disclaimer: The following quest and reward information hasn't been 100% verified by me yet. All of it was reported by members of the L2 community.

Action: Get badges from 400 soldiers, 400 captains, and 200 generals. Also 1 Totem through "Slay the Enemy Commander" quest (kill Ketra's Commander Tayr).

Reward:
A) You get additional porting access to Wall of Argos, Hot Springs, and Aden.
B) You can buy Blue or Yellow cargo boxes with 60 seeds (300 molars) and get adena/S mats.
C) You can buy White cargo boxes with 150 seeds (750 molars) and get adena/S mats.
D) You can buy Red file cabinet with 150 seeds (750 molars) and get a random S boot, glove, helm, shield recipe or 350,000 adena.
E) You can buy Purple file cabinet with 500 seeds (2500 molars) and get a random S main armor piece recipe or 850,000 adena.
